PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi Pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Sanur, setelah diterapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) . Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Sanur yang berjumlah 40 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tes objektif untuk mengetahui kemampuan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan persentase rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA sebesar 25,75% dari 63,25% pada siklus I menjadi 89% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Penerapan Pendekatan Saintifik Berbasis Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dapat meningkatkan Penguasaan Kompetensi Pengetahuan IPA Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Sanur”.Kata Kunci : saintifik, STAD, pengetahuan IPA.
This research aimed to develop natural science competence of the fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Sanur, once applied the natural scientific approach based on learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). This research was a classroom action research which conducted in two cycles to improve the learning proces. Subject of this research was the student of fourth grade at SD Negeri 1 Sanur which numbered 40 people. The data was collected by using an objective test to determine the ability of the science competence of the students then analyzed by quantitative descriptive technique. The result shows that an increase occur in the average percentage of mastering of the natural science competence’s skill of 25, 75% from 63, 25% in the first cycle to 89% in the second cycle. Based on these result can be concluded that “the application of natural scientific approach based on cooperative learning Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) able to improve the natural science competence of the students of fourth grade of SD Negeri 1 Sanur”.
