PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERPENGARUH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENGETAHUAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar pengetahuan matematika siswa kelas IV SD Gugus P.B. Sudirman Denpasar tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Gugus P.B. Sudirman Denpasar tahun ajaran 2015/2016 sebanyak 5 SD yang terdiri dari 8 kelas dengan jumlah keseluruhan adalah 304 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah nilai hasil belajar pengetahuan matematika. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar pengetahuan matematika dilakukan dengan metode tes. Data dianalisis dengan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh thitung = 2,39 > ttabel = 2,00, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar pengetahuan matematika terhadap kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik berbasis Problem Based Learning dan yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus P.B. Sudirman Denpasar Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Nilai rerata hasil belajar pengetahuan matematika pada kelompok eksperimen yaitu 81,26 dan kelompok kontrol yaitu 75,21. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendekatan saintifik berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar pengetahuan matematika siswa SD Gugus P.B. Sudirman Denpasar tahun ajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, Problem Based Learning, hasil belajar pengetahuan matematika.
This research aimed to determine the impact of scientific approach with Problem Based Learning based on learning outcomes of student’s mathematics knowledge in 4th grade in Cluster P.B. Sudirman Denpasar at 2015/2016 academic year. This research is a quasi-experimental research with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Population in this research were students in 4th grade in Cluster P.B. Sudirman Denpasar at 2015/2016 academic year, as many as 5 elementary schools with 8 classes and 304 students. Samples were taken by random sampling technique. Data that collected is scores of outcomes learning of student’s mathematics knowledge. Data of learning outcomes of students’s mathematics knowledge was collected by test methods. Data were analyzed by t-test. Based on analysis, the results was thitung = 2,39 > ttable = 2,00, so H0 was rejected and Ha accepted, it means there was a different significant of learning outcomes of students’s mathematics knowledge to the group that learned by scientific approach with Problem Based Learning and that learned by conventional scientific approach on 4th grade students in Cluster PB Sudirman Denpasar at 2015/2016 academic year. The average score of learning outcomes of mathematics knowledge in the experimental group were 81,26 and 75,21 in the control group. The conclusion is there are impact of scientific approach with Problem Based Learning based on learning outcomes of student’s mathematics knowledge in 4th grade in Cluster P.B. Sudirman Denpasar at 2015/2016 academic year.
