PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS PENILAIAN PORTOFOLIO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PADA BAHASA INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi keterampilan menulis pada bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis penilaian portofolio. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan yang berjumlah 34 siswa, terdiri dari 12 putra dan 22 putri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunkan metode tes. Metode tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kompetensi keterampilan menulis pada bahasa Indonesia. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes kinerja. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdapat tahapan-tahapan kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi keterampilan menulis pada bahasa Indonesia siswa setelah penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian portofolio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I persentase rata-rata mencapai sebesar 76,08% berada pada kriteria sedang. Pada siklus II persentase rata-rata mencapai sebesar 84,94% berada pada kriteria tinggi. Terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 8,86%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis penilaian portofolio dapat meningkatkan kompetensi keterampilan menulis pada bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan Tahun pelajaran 2015/ 2016.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, penilaian portofolio, keterampilan menulis
This study aims to improve the competence of writing skills in Indonesian VA grade students of SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan through the application of scientifically based approach to portfolio assessment. The subjects were students of class VA SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan totaling 34 students, consisting of 12 male and 22 female. Data collection techniques using the test method. The test method used to collect data writing skills competency in Indonesian. The test used is a performance test. This classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle there are stages of activity that is planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed an increase in writing skills competency on Indonesian students after the application of a scientific approach to portfolio assessment. The results showed that in the first cycle the average percentage reached 76.08% in the middle criteria. In the second cycle the average percentage reached 84.94% in the high criteria. There was an increase from the first cycle to the second cycle of 8.86%. It can be concluded that the application of a scientific approach based portfolio assessment can improve writing skills competency in Indonesian VA grade students of SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan school year 2015/2016.
