*PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan motivasi belajar melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik menggunakan model problem based learning siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 6 Ubung Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.; dan (2) meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik menggunakan model problem based learning siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 6 Ubung Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVA SDN 6 Ubung sebanyak 27 siswa yang terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan. Data tentang motivasi dikumpulkan menggunakan metode tes dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dikumpulkan menggunakan metode kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar pada siklus I yaitu 73% dengan kategori sedang sedangkan pada siklus II memperoleh predikat tinggi dengan nilai yang dicapai yaitu 90%; dan (2) terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA pada siklus I sebesar 60% dengan kategori rendah sedangkan pada siklus II, mencapai 89% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik menggunakan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas IVA SDN 6 Ubung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : saintifik, problem based learning, motivasi, kompetensi pengetahuan
*This research have a purpose to: (1) increasing motivation through the application of scientific approaches nuanced model of problem based learning graders IVA of SDN 6 Ubung Academic Year 2015/2016 and (2) improve the mastery of competencies through the application of knowledge science nuanced approach to scientific problem based learning models IVA grade students of SD Negeri 6 Ubung in academic year 2015/2016. This study was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class IVA SDN 6 Ubung that as many as 27 students consisting of 14 male students and 13 female students. Data about the motivation and competence mastery of science knowledge collected using tests and questionnaires. The collected data was then analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) an increase in students 'learning motivation of students' motivation levels obtained in the first cycle is 73% with moderate category, while in the second cycle predicate achieved high value of 90% and (2) an increase competence mastery of science knowledge is knowledge of the level of mastery of competencies IPA in the first cycle by 60% with a lower category, while in the second cycle, 89% are located in the high category. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the model nuanced approach to scientific problem based learning can increase motivation of learning and mastery of competencies knowledge IVA grade science students at SDN 6 Ubung academic year 2015/2016.
