PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY DAPAT MENINGKATKAN SIKAP SOSIAL DAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN PKn

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan sikap sosial dan kompetensi pengetahuan PKn siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan model pembelajaran discovery pada siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 5 Peguyangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan check list yang disertai dengan rubrik dan tes pilihan ganda biasa serta data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif serta statistik deskriptif. Terjadi peningkatan sikap sosial siswa pada siklus II. Dimana diperoleh ketercapaian sebesar 0% pada siklus I serta nilai yang sering muncul atau modus yaitu C (Cukup) dan untuk siklus II diperoleh ketercapaian sebesar 88,23% serta nilai yang sering muncul atau modus yaitu SB (Sangat Baik). Serta terjadi peningkatan pada kompetensi pengetahuan PKn di siklus II. Dimana diperoleh ketercapaian pada siklus I sebesar 47,05% dan untuk siklus II diperoleh ketercapaian sebesar 79,41%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan model pembelajaran discovery dapat meningkatkan sikap sosial dan kompetensi pengetahuan PKn siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 5 Peguyangan.

This study aims to improve social attitudes and PKn knowledge competence of students that learned through scientific approach with discovery learning model of the VA grade students of SD negeri 5 Peguyangan. This research is a class act that is performed in 2 cycles. The subjects were students of VA class, totaling 34 students. The data collection in this study using a check list, along with rubrics and the usual multiple-choice test and the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis of qualitative and quantitative also descriptive statistics. An increase in social attitudes of students in the second cycle. Which earned the achievement of 0% in the first cycle and the value of recurring or mode is C (Enough) and for the second cycle of achievement gained by 88,23% and the value of recurring or mode is SB (Very Good). And an increase in the competence of PKn civics knowledge in the second cycle. Which gained achievement in the first cycle of 47,05% and for the second cycle of achievement gained by 79,41%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the scientific approach to discovery learning model can improve social attitudes and competencies of PKn civics knowledge in the VA grade students of SD Negeri 5 Peguyangan.
