PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DENGAN PENILAIAN PROYEK BERBANTUAN MEDIA KONKRET DAPAT MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN MATEMATIKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek berbantuan media konkret. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek terteliti siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 berjumlah 39 orang. Tindakan dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Siklus I terdiri atas 4 pertemuan dan siklus II terdiri atas 4 pertemuan. Setiap pertemuannya dimulai atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data hasil penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Pedungan dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek berbantuan media konkret dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Pada siklus I diketahui pencapaian penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika siswa sebesar 78,66% dengan kriteria sedang, belum mencapai kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Sedangkan pada siklus II pencapaian penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika siswa sebesar 89,43% dengan kriteria tinggi, sudah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek berbantuan media konkret dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan Matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Pedungan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : saintifik, proyek, media konkret, matematika
This research aims to determine the increase competence mastery of mathematical knowledge through a scientific approach to the assessment of the project aided concrete media. This research is a classroom action research with the subjects in this study were fourth graders students of Public Elementary School 14 Pedungan academic year 2015/2016 totaling 39 people. Actions carried out in two cycles. First cycle consisted of four assemblys and second cycle cocsists of four assemblys. Each assembly consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data of competency mastery of mathematical knowledge of fourth graders students of Public Elementary School 14 Pedungan collected using the usual multiple-choise objective test. Collected data were analyzed with statistics descriptive and statistics quantitative. Research result showing the application of scientific approach to theassessment of the project aided concrete media can increase competency mastery of mathematical knowledge of fourth graders students of Public Elementary School 14 Pedungan academic year 2015/2016. The first cycle in known achievement competency mastery of mathematical knowledge of students 78,66% middle criteria, has not reached criteria of success assigned. While in the second cycle achievement competency mastery of mathematical knowledge of students 89,43% high criteria, has reached criteria of success assigned. Thus it can be concluded that through the application of scientific approach to the assessment of the project aided concrete media can increase competency mastery of mathematical knowledge of fourth graders students of Public Elementary School 14 Pedungan academic year 2015/2016.
