PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN CTL BERBANTUAN PETA KONSEP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dalam pembelajaran IPA di Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Abiansemal pada tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 melalui penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan peta konsep.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Abiansemal yang berjumlah 21 orang.Data mengenai hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda satu jawaban benar. Tes hasil belajar IPA di berikan pada saat pembelajaran pada siklus I selesai, begitu pula dengan siklus II. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya di analisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif.Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif diketahui hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD No 1 Abiansemal pada siklus 1 masih kurang yaitu baru mencapai 62,81%. Hasil tersebut masih berada pada kategori “cukup”. Pada siklus 2 hasil belajar IPA siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu mencapai 84%. hasil tersebut berada pada kategori “baik”. Hasil belajarsiswa sudah menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran telah berjalan secara optimal dengan diterapkannya pendekatan CTL berbantuan peta konsep. Hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD No 1 Abiansemal telah menunjukkan keberhasilan karena sudah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan yaitu sebesar 84% sehingga tindakan ini tidak perlu dan tidak akan berlanjut ke siklus atau tindakan berikutnya.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Berbantuan Peta Konsep dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV di SD No 1 Abiansemal tahun ajaran 2015/2016

This research was aimed at improving the learning outcomes of Sciences subject of the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Abiansemal in the academic year of 2015/2016 through the implementation of mind map-assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. This study belongs to classroom action research. The subject of this research was fourth grade students of SDN 1 Abiansemal with the total amount of 21 students. The data in the form of learning outcomes of sciences learning subject was collected by using multiple choice test with one correct answer. The test was administered at the end of each cycle (i.e. the first and second cycle). The collected data was then analyzed by using descriptive quantitative statistical analysis method. Based on the result of the descriptive quantitative statistical analysis, it was found out that the learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SDN 1 Abiansemal in the first cycle were not enough, with only 62.81%. This result was still categorized as “sufficient”. In the second cycle, the outcomes improved significantly into 84%. This result was categorized as “good”. Students’ learning outcomes showed that the learning process had been carried out optimally through the implementation of mind map-assisted CTL approach. The learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SD N 1 Abiansemal have shown a success since it has reached the set achievement indicators as much as 84% so that there was not any necessity to carry out the action into the next cycle/action. It can be concluded that the implementation of mind map-assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can improve the learning outcomes of sciences learning subject of the fourth grade students of SD N 1 Abiansemal in the academic year of 2015/2016.
