Kata Kunci : hasil belajar, problem based learning
Purpose of this study was to determine in science outcomes of students who take Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and students who take conventional learning in the four th grade elementary school students cluster 6 Tejakula district Buleleng regency. This study conducted in four th grade elementary group 6 Tejakula distrisct Buleleng regency SD Negeri 4 Sembiran and SD Negeri 1 Sembiran. The total number of population in the SD cluster 6 Tejakula Buleleng district is 113 students, while the number the sample size is 48 students were taken with a random sampling technique. Data of this research were student’s learning outcomes in science subjects, the data collected by description test instruments. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics (t-test). Based on the analysis, obtained t= 5,81 and ttabel (at significance level of 5%) = 2,01. This is means that the value of t > ttabel, so it can be interpreted that there are significant differences in science learning outcomes between students who learned with an PBL and students who learned using conventional learning. The average ( ) value showed that the experimental group get 23,85 and the control group get 20,95. This means, experimental > control. Based on these that result of this research. The consclution of this research is the application of an PBL model affect the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students in cluster VI, Tejakula distrisct in Buleleng regency.
