Penerapan TPS dalam Pendekatan Saintifik Berbantuan Media Audio Visual Untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Kompetensi Kognitif IPS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi kognitif IPS melalui penerapan Think Pair Share dalam pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media audio visual. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu, perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVA SDN 1 Sumerta dengan jumlah 46 siswa, yang terdiri dari 23 siswa laki-laki dan 23 siswa perempuan. Pengumpulan data penguasaan kompetensi kognitif IPS dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes yaitu tes pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif, dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Pada pra siklus diketahui rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi kognitif IPS adalah 68 % dan ketuntasan klasikal adalah 43,48%. Pada siklus I diperoleh persentase rata-rata penguasaan kompetensi kognitif IPS adalah 79 % meningkat 10% menjadi 89% pada siklus II. Ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I adalah 70% meningkat 19% menjadi 89% pada siklus II sudah melebihi indikator keberhasilan 80% siswa mencapai KKM ≥70. Demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan think pair share dalam pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi kognitif IPS.Kata Kunci : saintifik, think pair share, media audio visual, kompetensi kognitif ips
This study aims to improve the control of social cognitive competencies through the application of Think Pair Share in the scientific approach aided by audio-visual media. This research was the Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this research were the fourth-grade students of SDN 1 Sumerta which consists of 46 students in total, with 23 males and 23 females. Collection data of cognitive competencies social in this study conducted with test method is the usual multiple-choice test. The data then was being analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. In the pre-cycle discovered that the average tenure of cognitive competence social is 68% and the classical completeness is 43.48%. In the first cycle obtained by the average percentage of mastery of cognitive competencies social is 79% increased by 10% to 89% in the second cycle. Classical completeness in the first cycle is 70% increased by 19% to 89% in the second cycle has exceeded the indicators of the success of 80% of students achieving ≥70 KKM. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the think-pair-share the scientific approach aided by audio-visual media can improve their understanding of cognitive competence social.
