PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik berbasis model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana tahun ajaran 2015/2016 sebanyak 388 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas Vb SD Negeri 8 Padangsambian sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas Va SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data hasil belajar IPS dikumpulkan dengan instrumen berupa tes pilihan ganda biasa. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan uji-t. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik berbasis model pembelajaran NHT dengan pembelajaran konvensional siswa kelas V SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil thitung= 4,54 > ttabel (α = 0,05, 81) = 2,000. Demikian pula nilai Rerata hasil belajar IPS siswa kelompok eskperimen = 65,58 > = 53,60 rerata hasil belajar IPS siswa kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis model pembelajaran NHT berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana tahun ajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : Pendekatan saintifik ,Numbered Head Together (NHT), Hasil belajar IPS
The aims of this research to investigating the differences of social science learning outcomes student, who studied with scientific approach based on cooperative learning model type numbered head together (NHT) and conventional learning model for the fifthth grade students in SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana at academic year 2015/2016. This research is a quasi-experimental research design with the nonequivalent control group design. The population were all students of fifthth grade in SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana at academic year 2015/2016 with total number of students 399. The sample of this research selected by using random sampling technique. The samples in this research are students of Vb class SD Negeri 8 Padangsambian as the experimental group and Va class SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian as the control group. Data of social science outcomes students collected by using instrument of multiple choises test. Based on the result it can be concluded that there is difference social science outcomes simultaneously of group students who taking Scientific Approach Based on Cooperative Learning Model Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) and those taking conventional learning model of fifthth grade students in SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana academic year 2025/2016. Based on the results gained tcount = 4,45> ttable (α = 0,05, 81).= 2,000. And based on the analysis of mean, social science outcomes of experimental group gained = 65,58 > = 53,60 comparing with control group. It can be concluded that taking Scientific Approach Based on Cooperative Learning Model Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) gave the positive effect on social science outcomes for students in fifthth grade in SD Gugus Kompyang Sujana at academic year 2015/2016.
