PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA LINGKUNGAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Peguyangan melalui penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan media lingkungan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Peguyangan sebanyak 42 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes berbentuk uraian (esai) yang dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Setelah penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan media lingkungan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 peguyangan pada siklus I mencapai 42,85% dari 42 siswa yang memperoleh skor ≥ 3,18 (B+) dan kemudian mengalami peningkatan sebesar 19,05% pada siklus II menjadi 61,90% dari 42 siswa yang memperoleh skor ≥ 3,18 (B+). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan media lingkungan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Peguyangan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.

This research aims to improve the mastery of science competency (IPA) for fourth- grade students of SD Negeri 4 Peguyangan by through the application of the problem based learning model with environment as the media. This research is the classroom action research that is done in 2 cycle. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students in SD Negeri 4 Peguyangan as many as 42 students. Data collection techniques in this research using the test method form description (essay) were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. After the implementation of problem based learning model with environment as the media, the result show that the sore of mastery competency of science for IV grade students in SD Negeri 4 Peguyangan in the first cycle has reached 42,85% of 42 students who got ≥ 3,18 (B+) and then increased to 19,05% in the second cycle become 61,90% of 42 students who got ≥ 3,18 (B+) . Based on the results of this research concluded, the application of problem based learning model with environment as the media can improve the mastery of science competency for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Peguyangan year 2015/2016.
