PENGARUH PICTURE AND PICTURE BERBANTUAN POWERPOINT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract


Permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar IPA yang ditemukan pada siswa kelas V di SD Gugus II Kecamatan Banjar Kabupaten Buleleng menjadi masalah utama dilakukan penelitian ini. Indikasi rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa dibuktikan oleh nilai rata-rata kelas berada dibawah KKM yang ditetapkan sekolah. Kondisi tersebut diduga karena guru-guru dalam pembelajaran masih cenderung menggunakan model pembelajaran yang kurang inovatif. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui deskripsi hasil belajar IPA siswa setelah implementasi model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media PowerPoint, (2) mengetahui deskripsi hasil belajar IPA siswa setelah implementasi model pembelajaran konvensional, (3) mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media PowerPoint terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 di SD Gugus II Kecamatan Banjar Kabupaten Buleleng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan post test only control group design. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 202 siswa dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 59 siswa. Data hasil belajar IPA, dikumpulkan menggunakan metode tes, dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa kelompok eksperimen sebesar 23,7 berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, (2) rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa kelompok kontrol sebesar 16,1 berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media PowerPoint terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 di SD Gugus II Kecamatan Banjar Kabupaten Buleleng (thitung = 7,05 > ttabel = 2,003).

The issue of student’s low result in science learning was the main problem of this research did. It was obtained based on the class’s average value that specified by the school. The condition presumably because the learning model that used by teachers was still less innovative. Based on that explanation, this research was aimed to: (1) find out the description of student’s result in science learning after the implementation of picture and picture learning model using PowerPoint, (2) find out the description of student’s result in science learning after the implementation of conventional learning model, (3) find out the significant effect of picture and picture learning model using PowerPoint on student’s result in science learning at fifth grade of 2nd semester in academic year 2015/2016 in Gugus II of Banjar district Buleleng regency. This research was quasi experiment with post-test only control group design. The population of this research was 202 students and the samples were 59 students. Data of student’s learning in science was collected by using test method, and it was analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results of this research indicate: (1) the average of student’s result in science learning at experiment group is 23,7 which is in the very high category, (2) the average of student’s result in science learning at control group is 16,1 which is in the medium category, and (3) there is a significant effect of picture and picture learning model using PowerPoint on student’s result in science learning at fifth grade of 2nd semester in academic year 2015/2016 in Gugus II of Banjar district Buleleng regency (tcount = 7,05 > ttable = 2,003).
