PENERAPAN MODEL SAVI BERBANTUAN BENDA KONKRIT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS V

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas V semester II tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di SDN 3 Penarukan Kecamatan Buleleng dalam pembelajaran IPA saat penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI berbatuan benda konkrit; (2) untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas V semester II tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di SDN 3 Penarukan Kecamatan Buleleng dalam pembelajaran IPA setelah penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI berbatuan benda konkrit. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 3 Penarukan, Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2015/2016, yang berjumlah 37 orang siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi dan metode tes. Data keaktifan belajar dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi, dan data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan tes soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata keaktifan belajar siswa yaitu 70,81 dengan kategori cukup aktif, sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu 71,02 dengan kategori sedang. Namun, hasil pelaksanaan tindakan pada siklus I belum mencapai kriteria keberhasilan penelitian. Selanjutnya, pada siklus II nilai rata-rata keaktifan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,33 yaitu 80,72 dengan kategori aktif. Sedangkan, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,34 yaitu 80,91 dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil pelaksanaan tindakan pada siklus II sudah berhasil, karena telah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan penelitian yang telah ditetapkan.

This study aims to: (1) to determine the increase in class V students' learning activeness second semester of 2015/2016 academic year in SDN 3 Penarukan District of Buleleng in science learning when learning model application SAVI rocky concrete objects; (2) the improvement of student learning outcomes V class the second semester of the school year 2015/2016 in SDN 3 Penarukan District of Buleleng in science learning after learning model application SAVI rocky concrete objects. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects were all students in grade V in SD Negeri 3 Penarukan, District Buleleng 2015/2016 school year, which amounted to 37 students. The method used is the method of observation and test methods. Data were collected using the activity of learning the instrument observation sheets, and learning outcomes data collected by the test multiple choice questions. The results of the study in the first cycle obtained by the average value of students' learning activeness is 70.81 with a fairly active category, while the average value of student learning outcomes, namely 71.02 in the medium category. However, the results of the implementation of the action on the first cycle has not reached the success criteria of the study. Subsequently, the second cycle of the average value of students' learning activeness increased by 0.33 ie 80.72 with the active category. Meanwhile, the average value of the learning outcomes of students has increased by 0.34 ie 80.91 to a high category. The results of the implementation of the action on the second cycle was successful, having achieved success criteria designated research.
