PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ARIAS BERBASIS PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V

Abstract


Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment and Satisfaction) berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V SDN 6 Banyuning tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 6 Banyuning tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 30 orang dan terdiri dari 17 orang laki-laki dan 13 orang perempuan. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar IPA siswa menggunakan metode tes dan non tes. Metode tes dilakukan yang bertujuan untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa (ranah kognitif). Metode non tes dilakukan untuk menilai hasil belajar siswa pada ranah afektif dan psikomotorik. Data hasil belajar IPA siswa yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment and Satisfaction) berbasis pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V semester II tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di SDN 6 Banyuning. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar IPA siswa dari siklus I sampai siklus II. Persentase hasil belajar IPA siswa siklus I adalah 72% (kategori cukup) dan persentase hasil belajar IPA siswa siklus II adalah 84% (kategori baik).

The problem in this research is the lack of student learning outcomes in science. This study aims to determine the increase of student learning outcomes after using ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment and Satisfaction) learning model base on a scientific approach to teach science class V SDN 6 Banyuning the school year 2015/2016. This type of research is CAR (Classroom Action Research) that is conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class V SDN 6 Banyuning 2015/2016 school year totaling 30 people and consists of 17 men and 13 women. The data of student's learning outcomes in science collected using the test methods and non-test. The test method conducted which aims to measure student learning outcomes (cognitive). Non-test methods performed to assess student learning outcomes in the affective and psychomotor. The data of student's learning outcome in science were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The results of this study indicate that with using ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment and Satisfaction) learning model based on scientific approach to improve science learning outcomes in class V students the second semester of the school year 2015/2016 in SDN 6 Banyuning. It can be seen from the increase in science learning outcomes of students from the first cycle to the second cycle. Percentage of student’s learning outcomes in science for the first cycle was 72% (sufficient category) and the percentage of student’s learning outcomes in science for the second cycle was 84% (both categories).
