PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Abstract


Tujuan dari penelitian eksperimen semu adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media audio visual dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan konvensional pada siswa SD kelas V di Gugus VIII Kecamatan Abiansemal tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Desain penelitian menggunakan non-equivalent post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Gugus VIII Kecamatan Abiansemal tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD No.1 Sibanggede yang berjumlah 25 orang dan siswa kelas V SD No.4 Sibanggede yang berjumlah 24 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes hasil belajar IPA. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan. Rata-rata hitung yang diperoleh kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media audio visual adalah 24,5 berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan rata-rata hitung kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pendekatan konvensional, yaitu sebesar 22,08 berada pada kategori tinggi, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media audio visual berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa SD kelas V di Gugus VIII Kecamatan Abiansemal.

The aim of this quasi-experimental research were differences of science achievement between groups of students that learned with the scientific approach to media-assisted audio visual with groups of students that learned with conventional approaches to fifth grade elementary school students in the District VIII Cluster Abiansemal in the academic year 2015/2016. The study design using non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The study population of this entire fifth grade elementary school students in the District VIII Cluster Abiansemal in the academic year 2014/2015. The samples of this research was fifth grade elementary students in SD No. 1 Sibanggede by involving 25 students and fifth grade students of SD No. 4 Sibanggede by involving 24 students. The instrument of this research is science achievement test. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the analysis, they found significant differences. Arithmetic average obtained by the student group that learned to use a scientific approach to media-assisted audio visual is 24.5 at the high category, while the average count groups of students that learned using the conventional approach, which amounted to 22.08 in high category, so as to concluded that the application of the scientific approach aided drawing media influence on learning outcomes of students' reading comprehension skills of fifth grade in VIII Force District of Abiansemal.
