The aim of this study is to know the different of the students’ science achievement between the students’ group which was taught using explicit instruction model supported by surrounding natural environment and the students’ group which was taught using conventional model toward fourth grade students in MIN Air Kuning academic year 2015/2016. The study was conducted by using non-equivalent post-test only control group of quasi experimental design. The population was overall four grade students of MIN Air Kuning in which the sample was chosen randomly using saturation sampling. Multiple choices test was used as the instrument for collecting the data. The data collected was analyzed using statistic descriptive analysis and inferential statistic (t-test). The result of this study shows that t observed= 3.712 and t table= 1.684. It means that there was significant different between those two students’ groups because t observed > t table (in significant level of 5%). The Mean of experimental group = 20.28 and the Mean of control group = 16 which mean that the explicit instruction model supported by surrounding natural environment influenced positively toward students’ science achievement of fourth grade students in MIN Air Kuning academic year 2015/2016.
