ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN OPERASI BILANGAN BULAT KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) Pembelajaran operasi bilangan bulat di kelas IV, (2) Kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan operasi bilangan bulat, (3) Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi siswa dalam menyelesaikan operasi bilangan bulat. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Pemaron yang berjumlah 24 orang dan guru kelas IV. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pembelajaran operasi bilangan bulat termasuk dalam kategori baik, (2) Rata-rata secara klasikal sebesar 59,8 dengan kategori rendah dengan indikator tertinggi adalah menuliskan kalimat pengurangan ke bentuk penjumlahan 83,33% dan indikator terendah adalah melakukan operasi hitung penjumlahan bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan garis bilangan 34,68%, (3) Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi siswa dalam menyelesaikan operasi bilangan bulat adalah menentukan bilangan bulat positif dan negatif dan menyelesaikan soal dengan garis bilangan. Dengan demikian kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan operasi bilangan bulat termasuk dalam kategori rendah.Kata Kunci : matematika, kemampuan, operasi bilangan bulat
This study aimed to describe (1) Learning integer operations in the fourth grade, (2) the ability of students to complete the integer operations, (3) Constraints faced by students in completing integer operations. Subjects in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Pemaron amounting to 24 people and a fourth grade teacher. Data collection methods used in this research is the method of testing, observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study using a descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) Learning integer operations included in either category, (2) average of 59.8 in the classical style with low category with the highest indicator is to write a sentence reduction to form the sum of 83.33% and the lowest indicator perform integer arithmetic operations by using the sum of the number line 34.68%, (3) constraints faced by students in completing integer operations is determineing the positive and negative integers and solve problems with the number line. Thus the students' ability to complete the integer operations included in the low category.
