ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN SISWA DALAM MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN PADA WACANA NARASI KELAS V SD NEGERI 1 PENARUKAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam membaca pemahaman pada wacana narasi kelas V SD Negeri 1 Penarukan, (2) menemukan hambatan yang dialami siswa dalam kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada wacana narasi, dan (3) menemukan upaya- upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa pada wacana narasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode (1) tes, (2) kuesioner, dan (3) wawancara. Data yang sudah terkumpul diolah secara induktif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Penarukan. Sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah kemampuan siswa dalam membaca pemahaman pada wacana narasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa pada wacana narasi memperoleh nilai 71 berkualifikasi baik, (2) hambatan siswa dalam membaca pemahaman pada wacana narasi yaitu siswa kurang mampu dalam menceritakan kembali wacana yang telah dibaca dan susahnya siswa membuat kesimpulan berdasarkan wacana yang telah dibaca, dan (3) Upaya yang dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca yaitu dengan cara membimbing siswa dan menjelaskan teknik-teknik di dalam membaca agar siswa mampu memahami isi wacana yang dibaca.Kata Kunci : kemampuan membaca pemahaman wacana narasi
This study aims to (1) determine students abilities in reading comprehension in narrative discourse of class V SD Negeri 1 Penarukan, (2) finding the barriers experienced by students in reading comprehension in narrative discourse, and (3) find the efforts made by teachers to improve students reading comprehension in narrative discourse. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Collecting data in this study conducted by the method of (1) test, (2) questionnaires, and (3) interview. Data already collected was processed inductively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Penarukan. While the object of this study is the students' skills in reading comprehension in narrative discourse. The results showed that (1) the ability of students' reading comprehension in narrative discourse scored 71 well-qualified, (2) barriers to students in reading comprehension in narrative discourse that disadvantaged students in the retelling of discourse that have been read and difficult students make conclusions based discourse that has been read, and (3) Efforts are being made to improve the ability of teachers reading that is by guiding students and explaining the techniques in reading so that students are able to understand the content of the discourse that is read.
