PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIFE SNOWBALL THROWING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing siswa kelas IV tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di SD Negeri 2 Abuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, tes dan evaluasi, serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di SD Negeri 2 Abuan yang berjumlah 17 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA. Pengumpulan data aktivitas belajar dilakukan dengan metode observasi. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan metode tes. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan persentase aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV di SD 2 Abuan. Pada siklus I rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa diperoleh sebesar 70,58% (kategori cukup) dan persentase hasil belajar IPA siswa yang diperoleh sebesar 72,65% (kategori cukup). Pada siklus II persentase rata-rata aktivitas belajar diperoleh sebesar 85,29% (kategori baik), dan persentase rata-rata hasil belajar IPA diperoleh sebesar 88,24% (kategori baik). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV di SDN 2 Abuan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, snowball throwing.
This study aims to find the increase in activity learning and learning outcomes IPA by implementing cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing fourth grade students in the academic year 2015/2016 in SD Negeri 2 Abuan. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation of the action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The subjects were fourth grade studentsat SD Negeri 2 Abuan the academic year 2015/2016 of 17 people. The object of this study was the increase in activity and learning outcomes IPA. Data collection the activity of learning carried out by the observation methods. Data collection the learning outcomes carried out by the test methods. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis tmethods. The results showed that there was an increase percentage aktivity of learning and learning outcomes IPA at the fourth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Abuan. In the first cycle the average percentage of activity of learning gained by 70.58% (enough category) and the percentage of learning outcomes IPA obtained by 72.65% (enough category). In the second cycle the average percentage of learning activity was obtained by 85.29% (active category), and the average percentage of learning outcomes IPA obtained by 88.24% (both categories). Based on the results of this study concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model snowball throwing to increase the activity of learning and learning outcomes IPA fourth grade at SDN 2 Abuan academic year 2015/2016.
