PENERAPAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Abstract


Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kompetensi sikap dalam belajar IPA (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar pada kompetensi pengetahuan IPA dan (3) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar pada kompetensi keterampilan dalam belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 12 Peguyangan melalui penerapan model Discovery Learning menggunakan media audio visual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 12 Peguyangan yang berjumlah 42 siswa. objek dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar IPA yang meliputi kompetensi sikap dalam belajar IPA, kompetensi pengetahuan IPA, dan kompetensi keterampilan dalam belajar IPA. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah hasil belajar IPA. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk data kompetensi pengetahuan adalah metode dan data kompetensi sikap serta keterampilan menggunakan observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) bertambahnya kuantitas siswa dari pra siklus ke siklus I dan siklus II yang mencapai indikator kompetensi sikap yang ditetapkan (2) pada kompetensi pengetahuan IPA terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal siswa sebanyak 14 siswa (33,33%) pada siklus I dan 42 siswa (100%) pada siklus II (3) bertambahnya kuantitas siswa yang sudah memenuhi indikator kompetensi keterampilan dalam belajar IPA dari pra siklus ke siklus I dan siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning menggunakan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 12 Peguyangan tahun ajaran 2015/2016.

The purpose of this actions research were (1) to describe the attitude competence in science learning (2) to improve learning outcomes in knowledge competence of science and (3) to describe outcomes learning of skill competence in science learning students of fifth grade the application discovery learning model with audio visual media at SD Negeri 12 Peguyangan. The subjects of research were 42 students from fifth grade at SD Negeri 12 Peguyangan. The objects of research were attitude competence in science learning, science knowledge competence, and skill competence in science learning. The data that collected were the outcome of learning science. The method to collect data of knowledge competence was used the test and observation method to collect data attitude competence and skill competence. Data was analyzed by using descriptive statistic analyst method, descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The result of this research was (1) increased quantity of students from pre-cycle to first cycle and second cycle which reached the indicator of attitude competence that have been applied (2) on the competence of science increased knowledge classical completeness of students as many as 14 students (33.33%) in the first cycle and 42 students (100%) in the second cycle (3) increased quantity of students who meet the indicators of competency skills in learning science from the pre-cycle to first cycle and second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the model of Discovery Learning to use audio-visual media to improve learning outcomes fifth grade students of SD Negeri 12 Peguyangan the academic year 2015/2016.
