PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KUANTUM BERBANTUAN MEDIA TIGA DIMENSI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD

Masalah utama penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V di SD gugus I Kecamatan Kubu yang dibuktikan oleh nilai rata-rata kelas dibawah KKM dan guru masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran Kuantum berbantuan media tiga dimensi dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Kubu, Kabupaten Karangasem, semester genap, tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan rancangan post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Kubu. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas V SD N 1 Kubu dan kelas V SD N 3 Kubu, yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 129 siswa dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 42 orang siswa. Instrumen pada penelitian ini yaitu tes hasil belajar IPA. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial melalui uji- t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thit = 5,614 dan ttab (pada taraf signifikansi 5%) = 2,021. Hal ini berarti bahwa thit > ttab. Dilihat dari rata-rata skor kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran Kuantum berbantuan media tiga dimensi lebih besar daripada kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 23,46 > 16,1.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran Kuantum berbantuan media tiga dimensi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Kubu, semester genap, tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : pembelajaran Kuantum, media tiga dimensi, hasil belajar
The main problem of this research was student’s low result in science learning based on the class’s average value that under the KKM and teachers still used conventional learning model.The aims of the research is determine the differences of the science learning result among students who learnt by using Kuantum teaching assisted by three dimension media and students who learnt by using conventional teaching in fifth grade elementary school students in cluster I Kubu district,karangasem regency, second semester, in 2015/2016 school year. The research was quasi experiment with post test only control group design. The population was fifth grade in cluster I Kubu district. The sample of this research were fifth grade students in SD N 1 Kubu and fifth grade students in SD N 3 Kubu, involved by random sampling technique. The population of this research was 129 students and the samples were 42 students. The instrument of this research is test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistic through t-test. The results showed thit = 5,614 and ttab (in signifance level of 5%) = 2,021. It means that thit > ttab.. Judging from the average score of a group of students that learned with Kuantum teaching assisted by three dimension media larger than the group of students that learned with conventional learning models, namely 23.46>16.1.Based on the result, can be concluded that Kuantum teaching assisted by three dimension media influence the science learning result in fifth grade cluster II Kubu distric, second semester, in 2015/2016 school year.
