Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Ambengan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament (TGT) berbantuan media mice board target. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Ambengan yang berjumlah 24 orang, terdiri dari 11 orang laki-laki dan 13 orang perempuan. Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, tiap-tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi/evaluasi, dan tahap refleksi. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar IPS siswa menggunakan metode tes. Data hasil belajar IPS siswa yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil belajar IPS siswa sebesar 67% dalam (kategori sedang) dan hasil belajar IPS siswa pada siklus II meningkat sebesar 82% dalam (kategori tinggi). Jadi, hasil belajar IPS siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 15% dari siklus 1 ke siklus II. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament (TGT) berbantuan media mice board target dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS.

This research was aimed to find out the enhancement of student's result in learning IPS for the fifth grade in SD Negeri 3 Ambengan in academic year 2015/2016 after the implementation of cooperative model type teams game tournament (TGT) using mice board target media. The subject of this research was the students of fifth grade in SD Negeri 3 Ambengan with the total were 24 students, they were 11 boys and 13 girls. The classroom step research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages, namely plan’s stage, execution’s stage, observation or evaluation’s stage, and reflection’s stage. Data of the result of student's learning in IPS collected by test method. The data were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive. Student's result in learning IPS at the first cycle is 67% which is in the medium category and to the second cycle and student's result in learning IPS at the second cycle increases to 82% which is in the high category. The enhancement of student's result in learning IPS from first cycle to second cycle is 15%. The result of this research indicates that the implementation of cooperative learning model type teams games tournament (TGT) using which using mice board target can improve the result of students learning in IPS.
