ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN OPERASI HITUNG PECAHAN PADA SISWA KELAS V

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan: (1)Pembelajaran operasi hitung pecahan di kelas V, (2) Kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan operasi hitung pecahan, (3)Kendala yang dihadapi siswa dalam menyelesaikan operasi hitung pecahan dan solusi mengatasi kendala tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Pemaron yang berjumlah 34 orang dan guru kelas V. Objek penelitian ini adalah (1) Pembelajaran operasi hitung pecahan kelas V, (2) Kemampuan siswa menyelesaika operasi hitung pecahan, (3) Kendala yang dihadapi siswa dalam menyelesaikan operasi hitung pecahan dan solusi mengatasi kendala tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Pembelajaran operasi hitung pecahan termasuk dalam kategori baik. (2) Rata-rata hasil tes secara klasikal 56,5 dengan kategori rendah dengan indikator tertinggi adalah memecahkan masalah sehari-hari yang melibatkan operasi hitung perkalian dan pembagian berbagai bentuk pecahan16,47% dan indikator terendah adalah melakukan penjumlahan berbagai bentuk pecahan 80,88%. (3) Kendala yang dihadapi siswa yaitu pemahaman soal cerita dalam bahasa Indonesia yang kurang, lupa konsep operasi perkalian dan operasi pembagian pecahan, dan tidak bisa mengubah pecahan campuran menjadi pecahan biasa.Solusi untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah sering menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran dan sering memberi latihan soal yang bervariasi.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci : matematika, kemampuan, operasi hitung pecahan.
This study aimed to describe: (1)Learning arithmetic operations fractions in V grade students, (2)The students' ability to complete operation fractional arithmetic, (3)The obstacles faced by the students in completing the fractional arithmetic operation and solutions to overcome those problems.The type of this research was descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The subjects were the V grade students and the teacher who taught at V class at SD Negeri 2 Pemaron. The total number of the subjects were 34 students. The object of this research were: (1)Learning fractions of the V grade arithmetic operations, (2) The students' ability to complete the fractional arithmetic operations, (3) The obstacles faced by the students in completing the fractional arithmetic operation and solutions to overcome those obstacles. The observation, test, interviewed and documentation were used to collect the data. The Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results showed (1) Learning fractional arithmetic operations belonged to a good category.(2) The Average of the test results in classical 56.5 with low category, the highest indicators were the indicators of solving everyday problems involved multiplication and division arithmetic operations various fractions 16.47 % and the lowest indicator was the summation of various fractions 80.88 %. (3) the Constraints those were faced by students were: understanding about the story in Indonesian less, forget the concept of multiplication and division of fractions operations, and could not turn the mixture into fractions common fraction. The solution to overcome this problem is often used in learning Indonesian and often give varying exercises.
