PENERAPAN MODEL TGT MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN IPA SISWA KELAS VB SD NEGERI 8 PEMECUTAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 8 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran team games tournament dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 8 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran team games tournament. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, evaluasi/observasi, serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 8 Pemecutan yang berjumlah 38 orang yang terdiri dari 19 orang perempuan dan 19 orang laki-laki. Data penguasan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes yaitu tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskritif dan analisis deskriftif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan penguasan kompetensi siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 59% meningkat menjadi 84% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran team games tournament dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 8 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran team games tournament (TGT), pengetahuan IPA
This study aims to improve the mastery of competencies knowledge of VB grade science students of SD Negeri 8 Pemecutan 2015/2016 school year through the application of learning models tournament team games can improve their understanding of knowledge competency VB grade science students of SD Negeri 8 Pemecutan the academic year 2015/2016 through the implementation of learning model team tournament games. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, action, evaluation / observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class VB SD Negeri 8 Pemecutan totaling 38 people consisting of 19 women and 19 men. Data mastery of competencies IPA knowledge of students was collected using a test method that is the usual multiple-choice objective test. The collected data were then analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that there was an increase competence mastery of knowledge IPA. It can be seen from the thoroughness of student competence in classical mastery on the first cycle of 59% increasing to 84% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the application of the learning team tournament games can improve their understanding of knowledge competency VB grade science students of SD Negeri 8 Pemecutan the school year 2015/2016.
