PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TWO STAY TWO STRAY TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar IPA setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif TSTS, 2) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar IPA setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, dan 3) mengetahui adanya perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif TSTS dan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V di Gugus 3 Udayana Kecamatan Mendoyo Kabupaten Jembrana pada Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD di Gugus 13 Kecamatan Buleleng yang berjumlah 139 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Penyaringan dan V SDN 5 Penyaringan yang masing-masing berjumlah 20 dan 22 orang siswa. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas V SDN 5 Penyaringan sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan V SDN 2 Penyaringan sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes yaitu tes hasil belajar IPA yang berupa tes objektif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa skor hasil belajar IPA kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) hasil belajar siswa dengan model TSTS tergolong kualifikasi sangat baik (X ̅=28,11), 2) hasil belajar siswa dengan model konvensional tergolong kualifikasi baik (X ̅=24,08), dan 3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif TSTS dan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Perbedaan tersebut dapat dilihat dari perhitungan dengan menggunakan uji-t yang memperoleh hasil thitung=53,22>ttabel (α=0,05) =2,00. Melalui perbedaan tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif TSTS berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA.Kata Kunci : Model Kooperatif, TSTS, Hasil Belajar IPA
The purpose of this research was: 1) to describe the results of science learning after using TSTS cooperative learning model, 2) to describe the results of science learning after using conventional learning models , and 3) to know the differences of science learning outcome between the group of students who are learning with TSTS cooperative learning model and a group of students who are learning with conventional learning models in class V at cluster 3 Udayana sub district Mendoyo regency Jembrana the Academic Year 2015 / 2016. Kind of this research is a quasi experimental study. The population in this study are 139 students of fifth grade elementary school students at Cluster 3 Udayana sub district Mendoyo regencyJembrana. The samples in this study were students of class V at SDN 2 Penyaringan and V at SDN 5 Penyaringan each of which accounted by 20 and 22 students. Samples were taken using techniques random sampling in order to obtain the V at SDN 5 Penyaringan class as experimental group and V at SDN 2 Penyaringan as a control group. Data collected by the test method that tests science learning outcomes in the form objective test. Data collected in the form scores of science learning outcomes were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed: 1) learning outcomes of students with TSTS model classified as excellent qualifications (X ̅= 28.11), 2) student learning outcomes with conventional models classified as good qualifications (X ̅ = 24.08), and 3) there are significant differences of science learning outcomes between the groups of students who are learning TSTS cooperative learning model and groups of students who are learning with conventional learning models. The difference can be seen from the calculations using the t-test results gained tcount = 53.22 >ttable (α = 0.05) = 2.00. Through these results, it can be said that the TSTS cooperative learning model give positive effects on science learning outcomes.
