PENERAPAN TEKNIK MAKE A MATCH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik make a match pada siswa kelas V SDN No. 3 Kaliuntu, Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan tindakan tiap siklus adalah tiga kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN No. 3 Kaliuntu tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik make a match dan hasil belajar matematika. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan metode tes. Data dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, persentase rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa pada siklus I adalah 67,80% (kategori sedang), meningkat menjadi 80,40% (kategori tinggi) pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik make a match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SDN No. 3 Kaliuntu, Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.

This research was aimed to know an improvement in student’s mathematics learning achievement by applying the make a match technique of cooperative learning model at the 5th grade students of SDN No. 3 Kaliuntu, Buleleng Subdistrict, Buleleng Regency in academic year 2015/2016. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, treatment, observation/evaluation and reflection. Every treatment for each cycle was done in three meetings. The subject of this research was the 5th grade students of SDN No. 3 Kaliuntu in academic year 2015/2016 in which all of them were 22 students. The object of this research was the make a match technique of cooperative learning model and mathematics learning achievement. The data in this research were gathered by using test. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics and descriptive quantitative data analysis. The result of the study showed that there is an improvement in student’s mathematics learning achievement. Based on the data analysis, the mean percentage of students’ mathematics learning achievement in the first cycle is 67.80% (categorized as average) which then increased in the second cycle to 80.40% (categorized as high). Based on that result, it can be concluded that the application of make a match technique of cooperative learning model can increase student’s mathematics learning achievement at the 5th grade students of SDN No. 3 Kaliuntu, Buleleng Subdistrict, Buleleng Regency in academic year 2015/2016.
