PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS IV

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas IV SD Gugus XIV Pemaron tahun pelajaran 2015 – 2016, Sampel penelitian berjumlah 80 orang dipilih menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Rancangan eksperimen dilakukan dengan Post Test Only Control Group Design.Data dikumpulkan dengan instrumen kuesioner untuk variabel motivasi berprestsai dan tes untuk variabel hasil belajar IPS.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis varian dua jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang mendapat perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan siswa yang tidak mendapat perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran TGT, (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar IPS, (3) pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa antara siswa yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan siswa yang tidak mendapat perlakuan model TGT, dan (4) pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi rendah, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa antara siswa yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan siswa yang tidak mendapat perlakuan model TGT.

This This research aims to investigate and analyze the effect of TGT cooperative learning model and learning motivation toward social sciences learning achievement. Population in this research was the entire four grade fourteen students in Pemaron cluster academic year 2015-2016. Sample consisted of eighty students was selected using random sampling technique. This research used the Post test Only Control Group design. Data were collected using learning motivation questionnaire and IPS learning achievement test. Data gathered were analyzed using Two-Way ANOVA. The results show that: ( 1 ) there is a difference between the results of social studies teaching students treated with cooperative learning model TGT with students who did not receive treatment study with TGT learning model, there is an interaction effect between models of learning and achievement motivation on learning outcomes social sciences, ( 3 ) the students who have high achievement motivation , there are differences between the students' learning outcomes social sciences students who receive treatment TGT cooperative learning model with students who did not receive treatment TGT model ,and ( 4 ) the students who have low achievement motivation, there are differences between the students' learning outcomessocial sciencesstudents who receive treatment TGT cooperative learning model with students who did not receive treatment TGT model .
