PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL MELALUI MODEL JIGSAW BERBANTUAN MEDIA LINGKUNGAN SEKITAR

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui peningkatkan aktivitas belajar IPA dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kontekstual melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan media lingkungan sekitar dalam matapelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas III tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di SDN 3 Sudimara, (2) mengetahui peningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kontekstual melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan media lingkungan sekitar dalam matapelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas III tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di SDN 3 Sudimara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di SDN 3 Sudimara, yang berjumlah 15 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan metode tes. Data dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitaif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan persentase aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas III di SDN 3 Sudimara.
Berdasarkan observasi aktivitas belajar, persentase rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 71,30% dengan kategori cukup aktif, dan persentase rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus II sebesar 80,70% dengan kategori aktif. Berdasarkan tes hasil belajar IPA, persentase rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa pada siklus I sebesar 74,66% dengan kategori sedang, dan persentase rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa pada siklus II sebesar 83,67% dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan media lingkungan sekitar dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas III di SDN 3 Sudimara tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.

This study aims to (1) determine improvement activity to learn science by applying contextual learning through cooperative learning model Jigsaw aided media environment in the course from the IPA on third-grade students in the academic year 2015/2016 in SDN 3 Sudimara, (2) to enhancing learning outcomes IPA to apply contextual learning through cooperative learning model Jigsaw aided media environment in the course from the IPA on third-grade students in the academic year 2015/2016 in SDN 3 Sudimara. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class III in the academic year 2015/2016 in SDN 3 Sudimara, which totaled 15 people. The object of this study was the increase in activity and learning outcomes IPA. Collecting data in this study was conducted using the method of observation and tests. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis of quantitative methods. The results showed that an increase in the percentage of learning activities and learning outcomes at the third-grade students at SDN 3 Sudimara. Based on the observation of learning activities, the average percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle of 71.30% with a category quite active, and the average percentage of student learning activities in the second cycle of 80.70% in the active category. Based on the test results to learn science, the average percentage of students' learning outcomes IPA in the first cycle of 74.66% in the medium category, and the average percentage of student learning outcomes IPA on the second cycle of 83.67% with a high category. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model Jigsaw aided media surrounding environment can increase the activity of learning and learning outcomes third grade science students at SDN 3 Sudimara the school year 2015/2016.
