PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, evaluasi/observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN 3 Tukadmungga yang berjumlah 21 orang. Objek penelitian adalah motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner dan metode tes yang dilaksanakan pada akhir siklus. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskritif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan (1) terjadinya peningkatan rata-rata presentase motivasi belajar IPS siswa. Dibuktikan dengan penelitian yang dilakukan pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata presentase motivasi belajar 75,61% dengan kategori cukup baik selanjutnya, penelitian siklus II memperoleh rata-rata presentase motivasi belajar 84% dengan kategori baik.(2) terjadinya peningkatan rata-rata presentase hasil belajar IPS siswa. Dibuktikan dengan penelitian yang dilakukan pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata presentase hasil belajar 71,15% dengan kategori cukup tinggi selanjutnya, penelitian siklus II memperoleh rata-rata presentase hasil belajar 81,15% dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian siklus I ke siklus II dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament dikatakan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN 3 Tukadmunggatahun pelajaran 2016/2017.

This study aims to improve motivation and learning outcomes IPS by implementing cooperative learning model teams tournament games. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, evaluation / observation and reflection. The subjects were students of class V SDN 3 Tukadmungga totaling 21 people. The object of research is the motivation and learning outcomes IPS. Collecting data using questionnaires and methods of tests conducted at the end of the cycle. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. These results indicate (1) the increase in the average percentage of students' learning motivation IPS. Evidenced by a study conducted in the first cycle receives an average percentage of 75.61% with a motivation to learn good enough category next, study the second cycle obtain the average percentage of 84% with the motivation to learn both categories. (2) an increase in the average percentage IPS student learning outcomes. Evidenced by a study conducted in the first cycle receives an average percentage of 71.15% of learning outcomes with the next category is quite high, the second cycle study earned an average percentage of 81.15% of learning outcomes with high category. Based on the research cycle I to cycle II with the implementation of cooperative learning model teams tournament games said to improve motivation and learning outcomes IPS students of class V SDN 3 Tukadmunggatahun 2016/2017 lesson.
