Globalisasi membawa dampak perubahan dalam mengelola suatu organisasi baik organisasi bisnis maupun non bisnis. Setiap organisasi akan bertahan apabila memiliki keunggulan bersaing Tujuan penelitian untuk membnagun keunggulan bersaing yang berkelanjutan dalam mengelola organisasi di bidang pendidikan. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana pengaruh proses manajemen pengetahuan yang diistilahkan dengan Knowledge Management (KM) dengan mediasi strategi bisnis dalam meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing yang berkelanjutan. Responden adalah pejabat struktural di bidang akademik pada perguruan tinggi swasta di Bali.Jumlah responden 100 orang yang berasal dari 6 perguruan tinggi swasta di Denpasar. Alat analisis mempergunakan Partials least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh KM terhadap strategi bisnis dan keunggulan bersaing positif dan signifikan, strategi bisnis memediasi pengaruh proses KM terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Artinya semakin baik proses manajemen pengetahuan semakin relevan strategi yang dipergunakan maka keunggulan bersaing semakin meningkat . Mengelola organisasi dibidang pendidikan hampir sama dengan mengelola bisnis. Prinsip-prinsip dalam mengelola organisasi bisnis dapat diterapkan dalam mengelola organisasi yang bergerak dibidang pendidikan. Proses manajemen pengetahuan yang efektif akan mengarahkan organisasi menentukan strategi yang relevan sehingga mampu meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing.
