LKPD Elektronik IPA Berbasis Potensi Lokal dengan Model PBL: Upaya Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis

Keterampilan berpikir kritis sangat penting dimiliki peserta didik di abad ke-21 karena keterampilan ini mampu menjadi bekal untuk membuat keputusan saat menghadapi permasalahan. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat dilatihkan kepada peserta didik melalui penggunaan bahan ajar terintegrasi potensi lokal dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan LKPD elektronik berbasis potensi lokal rumah dome dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 48 peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan yang ditentukan melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, dengan analisis menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank. Penelitian menemukan bahwa penggunaan LKPD elektronik berbasis potensi lokal rumah dome dengan model PBL dalam pembelajaran IPA secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, dengan nilai signifikansi <0,001 dan effect size sebesar 0,58, yang mencapai kategori tinggi. Semua indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis mengalami peningkatan nilai pada penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LKPD elektronik berbasis potensi lokal dengan model PBL dapat menjadi salah satu strategi yang direkomendasikan dalam pembelajaran IPA.
