ETNOKIMIA: EKSPLORASI POTENSI KEARIFAN LOKAL SASAK SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR KIMIA

Sebagian besar pendidik mengalami kesulitan mengintegrasikan segitiga kimia dalam pembelajaran sehingga mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep kimia yaitu pada domain mikroskopik dan simbolik. Adanya kesulitan tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik mahasiswa Terlebih lagi sumber belajar yang tersedia saat ini masih terfokus pada konsep-konsep yang bersifat abstrak tanpa diintegrasikan dengan pengalaman keseharian peserta didik sehingga materi kimia menjadi sulit dipahami. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bentuk relevansi kearifan lokal Sasak dengan materi kimia dan menggali potensi kearifan lokal Sasak sebagai sumber belajar pada mata kuliah Kimia Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif yang merupakan gabungan model Miles & Huberman dan Spradley. Berdasasrkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan antara lain bentuk relevansi kearifan lokal Sasak dengan materi kimia dapat ditinjau berdasarkan perspektif atau pendekatan analogi, representasi, apersepsi, visualisasi dan interpretasi dan potensi kearifan lokal Sasak lombok sebagai sumber belajar pada mata kuliah Kimia Dasar yaitu pada 5 pokok bahasan antara lain materi dan perubahannya pemisahan dan pembuatan campuran, struktur atom sistem periodik unsur, dan ikatan kimia terintegrasi kearifan lokal Sasak.
