PENERAPAN MODEL SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR DAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR MAHASISWA

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkanhasil belajar mahasiswa, meningkatkan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa, dan mendeskripsikan
tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap model self-directed learning di kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan
di Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA Undiksha yang melibatkan 7 orang mahasiswa semester
genap tahun ajaran 2008/ 2009. Penelitian terdiri dari 2 siklus tindakan. Data hasil belajar
mahasiswa dikumpulkan menggunakan tes dan kontrak belajar. Kemandirian belajar mahasiswa
dan tanggapan mahasiswa dikumpulkan dengan angket kuisioner. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dan kemandirian belajar
mahasiswa setelah diterapkan model self-directed learning. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga
menunjukkan respon positif mahasiswa terhadap implementasi model self-directed learning.
