Mind Mapping in A Problem-Based Learning Model to Improve Students' Creative Thinking Skills

Rendahnya kemampuan kreatif berpikir siswa dalam menganalisa isu permasalahan dan minimnya penerapan strategi pembelajaran pada model problem based learning sehingga menyebabkan capaian pembelajaran kurang maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan mind mapping dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam model pembelajaran problem based learning. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pre-experimental design dengan penelitian one grup pre-test – post-test design. Populasi sekaligus sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI pada SMP 3 Satap Kabila Bone , Bone Bolango. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan instrumen tes uraian yang diberikan ke siswa di awal pembealajaran dan juga di akhir pembelajaran. Analisis data berdasarkan hasil rata-rata nilai pre-test – post-test, hasil uji normalitas, uji homogenitas serta uji one sample T-Test dengan menggunakan SPSS 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik mind mapping dalam model pembelajaran problem based learning membantu siswa untuk memahami konsep-materi, mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam memecahkan masalah.
