PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF MODEL HANNAFIN AND PECK UNTUK PELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS SMP NEGERI 3 SINGARAJA

Permasalahan di SMP N 3 Singaraja adalah belum tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris secara maksimal. 70% siswa memperoleh hasil belajar yang kurang dari KKM yang ditentukan, sehingga dilakukan penelitian produk multimedia pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan rancang bangun pengembangan multimedia interaktif untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris, (2) mengetahui kualitas hasil pengembangan multimedia interaktif menurut review ahli, dan uji coba yang dilakukan siswa, serta (3) mengetahui efektivitas multimedia interaktif untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model Hannafin and Peck. Model Hannafin and Peck terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) desain, dan (3) pengembangan dan implementasi. Validasi multimedia interaktif dilakukan oleh satu ahli isi mata pelajaran, satu ahli desain pembelajaran, satu ahli media pembelajaran, 3 siswa uji coba perorangan, 12 siswa uji coba kelompok kecil, dan 30 siswa uji coba lapangan. Efektivitas multimedia interaktif menggunakan desain penelitian pre-test dan post-test. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode kuesioner dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif dan statistik inferensial/induktif uji-t. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini adalah (1) deskripsi rancang bangun pengembangan multimedia interaktif (2) kualitas hasil pengembangan media menurut review ahli dan siswa. Hasil validasi media yang dilakukan oleh: (a) ahli isi mata pelajaran 96,66%; (b) ahli desain pembelajaran 92%; (c) ahli media pembelajaran 90% yang ketiganya ada pada kategori sangat baik serta (d) uji coba perorangan 91,79% dengan kategori sangat baik, uji coba kelompok kecil 86,54%, dan uji coba lapangan 88,77% yang keduanya ada pada kategori baik; (3) efektivitas hasil pengembangan multimedia interaktif menunjukkan signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah thitung = 14,035 > ttabel =2,000. Ini berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan multimedia interaktif.Kata Kunci : pengembangan, multimedia interaktif, model Hannafin and Peck
The problem which is found at SMP N 3 Singaraja is the aim of English Subject wasn’t reach maximaly. 70% of the student gain a learned result less than the KKM that decided, so do English multimedia learning product research.This research aims to: (1) describe the design of interactive multimedia development for English subjects, (2) determine the quality of interactive multimedia development by expert review, and testing by student, as well as (3) examine the effectiveness of interactive multimedia for English subjects. This research is development research that uses Hannafin and Peck’s model. Hannafin and Peck's model consists of three stages: (1) needs analysis, (2) design, and (3) development and implementation. The third stage is used as a reference model of the development of the manufacture, and validate the developed interactive multimedia. Validation of interactive multimedia is done by a course content expert, the instructional design expert, an instructional media expert, 3 students of individual trials, 12 students of small group trial, and 30 students of field trials. The effectiveness of interactive multimedia using pre-test and post-test design. Data were collected by questionnaire and tests. Analyzed using descriptive qualitative, quantitative and inferential statistics/inductive t-test. The results of this development research is (1) a description of the interactive multimedia development design. The media validation results performed by: (a) the expert subject matter content 96.66%; (b) instructional design expert 92%; (c) instructional media experts 90% that three of them is in very good category and (d) individual trials 91.79% with very good category, small group trial 86.54%, and 88.77% field trials that both exist in good categories; (3) the effectiveness of interactive multimedia development results obtained indicate significance is tcount = 14.035> table = 2.000. This means that there is a significant difference of student learning outcomes before and after using the interactive multimedia.
