PENGEMBANGAN MOBILE LEARNING DENGAN MODEL DICK DAN CAREY PADA MATA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI SMPN 5 MENDOYO

Abstract

Permasalahan pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 5 Mendoyo adalah guru kurang memanfaatkan media dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya yaitu pada pelajaran IPA Biologi. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, maka dikembangkan mobile learning dengan schoology. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan rancang bangun pengembangan mobile learning menggunakan Model Dick dan Carey; 2) mengetahui validitas pengembangan Mobile Leaning yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil review para ahli dan uji coba produk; 3) mengetahui efektifvitas pengembangan Mobile Learning dengan Model Dick dan Carey terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Biologi untuk siswa kelas VII di SMP N. 5 Mendoyo semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dokumentasi, kuesioner, dan tes objektif pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis deskriptif kualitatif, analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) pengembangan mobile learning dengan aplikasi schoology dikembangkan dengan model Dick dan Carey melalui 10 tahapan; 2) validitas pengembangan mobile learning menurut review para ahli diperoleh hasil sangat baik dengan persentase tingkat pencapaian ahli isi, ahli desain dan ahli media yaitu 94%, 92%, 92%. Berdasarkan uji coba produk diperoleh hasil sangat baik dengan persentase tingkat pencapaian dari uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil dan lapangan yaitu 92,67%, 90,53%, 90,53%; 3) efektivitas pengembangan mobile learning dengan schoology menunjukkan thitung (16,345) > ttabel (2,021) sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA Biologi sebelum dan setelah menggunakan media. Dengan demikian, pengembangan mobile learning dengan schoology efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Learning problems in SMPN 5 Mendoyo is less teachers to use product learning, one of which is the science subjects. To improve students learning outcomes is development mobile learning with schoology. The aim of this research are 1) Describing the design of mobile learning development by usingmode dick and carey. 2) identitying the validity of mobile learning development which is developmed by the result of the review from the expert and product trials. 3) Identitying the effectiveness of mobile learning development by using model dick and carey toward the student’s learning outcome in biology subject for the students in the seventh grade of second semester in the academic year 2015/2016 in SMPN 5 Mendoyo.This research about the development of media namely schoology application in the form of IPA Biology course. The method in collecting data were documentation, questionn aire and multiple choice. The data analysis technique was descriptive analysis, qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The result of this research were : 1) the development of mobile learning by using schoology application which is developed by model dick and carey though to steps. 2) the validity of mobile learning development according to the expert, review obtained a very good results with the percentage level of achievement content experts, design experts and media experts is 94%, 92%, 92%. Based on the producttrials obtained a very good results with the percentage level of achievement individual trial, small group trial and field Were 92,67%, 90,53%, 90,53%. 3) the effectiveness of mobile learning development by using schoology showed t hitung (16,345) > t tabel (2,021) so H0 is fail to reject and H1 is reject. There were a significant differences to ward the learning outcome of IPA Biology course beforehand and afterward used the media. Therefore, the mobile learning development by using schoology can improve the students learning outcome effectively.
