PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TALKING STICK BERBANTUAN MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dengan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 106 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian adalah 2 kelas yang terdiri dari 53 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode tes dengan tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dengan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional (tA = 27,6 > tt = 2,000). Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model Talking Stick berbantuan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif (27,47) lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model konvensional (23,70). Dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII mata pelajaran IPA di SMP N 7 SingarajaKata Kunci : Talking Stick, multimedia, hasil belajar
This research aimed to find the significant differences upon learning science results between students who taught by using cooperative learning method with talking stick based on interactive learning multimedia with the students who taught by using conventional teaching method in eighth grade students at SMP N 7 Singaraja. This research was an experimental research and post-test only control group design as the design of this research. The population was all of the students in eighth grade students at SMP N 7 Singaraja that consist of 4 classes and there were 106 numbers of students. To choose the sample, the cluster random sampling was chosen as a technique. There were 2 classes as the samples that consist of 53 students. The data collection was collected by using post test. The data was analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The results of this research showed that there was significant science result between students who taught by using cooperative learning method with talking stick based on interactive learning multimedia with the students who taught by using conventional teaching method (tA = 27,6 > tt = 2,000). The mean of experimental group that taught by using talking stick based on interactive learning multimedia (27,47) was higher than control group who taught by using cooperative learning method (23,70). It can be concluded that cooperative learning method with talking stick based on interactive learning multimedia influenced students’ achievement of eighth grade students in science subject at SMP N 7 Singaraja
