PENERAPAN METODE BERCERITA BERBANTUAN MEDIA BONEKA TANGAN UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBAHASA LISAN PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B SEMESTER GENAP TK KUMARA LOKA DENPASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa lisan anak kelompok B semester genap TK Kumara Loka Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau Classroom Action Research. Subjek penelitian adalah 16 anak kelompok B semester genap TK Kumara Loka Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang perkembangan kemampuan berbahasa lisan dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi dengan instrument berupa lembar observasi dan metode wawancara dengan instrument lembar wawancara. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi persentase rata-rata perkembangan kemampuan berbahasa lisan sebesar 58% pada siklus I dengan kriteria rendah, menjadi 81% dengan kriteria aktif pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 23%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bercerita dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa lisan pada anak kelompok B semester genap TK Kumara Loka Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Bercerita, Boneka Tangan, Berbahasa Lisan
This research aimed to determine the increase oral language skills in children group B second semester at TK Kumara Loka Denpasar academic year 2013/2014. This study is an action research or classroom action research. Subjects in this study were 16 children in group B TK Kumara Loka Denpasar academic year 2013/2014. Research data on the development of oral language skills were collected through observation method with instruments such as observation sheets and interview method with the questionnaire instrument.The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative. The results of the data analysis showed that there is a development of oral language skills through the application of media-assisted storytelling hand puppets on the first cycle of 58% which is low in the category turns on the second cycle becomes 81% belong to the category of active. So, there is a development of oral language skills of children 23%. Based on the research that has been done can be concluded that the method of storytelling can develop oral language skills in children group B second semester at TK Kumara Loka Denpasar academic year 2013/2014.
