Penerapan Metode Demonstrasi dalam Kegiatan Mozaik untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Motorik Halus Anak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan motorik halus anak dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi dalam kegiatan mozaik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B2 TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Tegallalang tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 pada semester II yang berjumlah 15 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase keterampilan motorik halus anak sebesar 65,65% yang berada pada kriteria sedang, setelah dilanjutkan dengan perbaikan penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam kegiatan mozaik pada siklus II, keterampilan motorik halus anak kemudian mengalami peningkatan menjadi sebesar 84,3% yang berada pada kriteria tinggi. Jadi, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam kegiatan mozaik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak kelompok B2 TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Tegallalang.Kata Kunci : metode demonstrasi, kegiatan mozaik, keterampilan motorik halus.
This research aimed to find out the improvement of the fine motor skills of children by applying demonstration method in the mosaic activity. This research was classroom action research (PTK) implemented during two cycles. Subject in this research was 15 children of second semester from B2 group of TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Tegalalang in the academic 2014/2015. Data collection method used in this research was observation method with instrument such as observation sheet. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis technique. Results of data analysis on the first cycle showed that the average percentage of children’s fine motor skills at 65.65% that belonged to medium criteria, after applying improvement of demonstration method in mosaic activity on second cycle, fine motor skills subsequently increased at 84.3% who belonged to high criteria. Therefore it could be concluded that the implementation of demonstration method in the mosaic activity could improve fine motor skills children from B2 group of TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Tegalalang.
