PENERAPAN METODE BERCERITA BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR BERSERI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menyimak anak dengan penerapan metode bercerita berbantuan media gambar berseri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelompok B2 semester II tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi mengenai keterampilan menyimak anak. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menyimak anak pada pra siklus sebesar 33% yang berada pada kriteria sangat rendah, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I menjadi 65,30% yang berada pada kriteria sedang, dan mengalami peningkatan juga pada siklus II menjadi 83,35% yang berada pada kriteria tinggi. Ini berarti kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan metode bercerita dengan media gambar berseri dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak anak kelompok B2 semester II tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja.Kata Kunci : Media Gambar Berseri, Metode Bercerita, Keterampilan Menyimak
This study aims to determine the increase listening skills of children with the application of media-assisted method of storytelling radiant image. This study was conducted in group B2 2014/2015 second semester of the school year in kindergarten Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Subjects numbered 15 children. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Data collection method used is observation with instruments such as sheets of observations about a child listening skills. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the listening skills of children in pre-cycle by 33%, which is at a very low criteria, increased in the first cycle to 65.30%, which is the criterion being, and increased also in the second cycle be 83.35% which is the high criteria. This means learning activities using storytelling with media picture serial can improve listening skills of children in group B2 second semester of the academic year 2014/2015 in kindergarten Kartika VII-3 Singaraja.
