PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS BERBANTUAN MEDIA BALOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak setelah diterapkan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media balok di TK widya Sesana Sangsit.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 12 orang Anak TK pada Kelompok B Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang perkembangan kognitif dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi dan metode wawancara dengan instrumen berupa lembar format percakapan. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis statistik kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan kognitif siswa kelompok B TK. Widya Sesana Sangsit setelah diterapkan metode pemberian tugas melalui kegiatan bermain balok sebesar 23,50%. Ini terlihat dari peningkatan rata-rata persentase kognitif siswa pada siklus pada siklus I adalah 54,11% yang berada pada kategori rendah dan rerata kemampuan kognitif anak pada siklus II sebesar 83,67% berada pada kategori tinggi.Kata Kunci : metode pemberian tugas, media balok, kemampuan kognitif
This study aims to determine the increase in cognitive development of children after the applied method of assignment aided beam in kindergarten widya media Sesana Sangsit.Jenis this study is action research conducted in two cycles . Subjects were 12 kindergarten Children in Group B Second Semester Academic Year 2013/2014 . Data collected research on cognitive development with the method of observation with the instrument in the form of sheets of format observation and interviews with the instrument in the form of a conversation format sheet . The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative statistical analysis methods . The results of the analysis of the data showed an increase in cognitive group B kindergarten students . Widya Sesana Sangsit after application of the method of administration tasks through play activities beam of 23.50 % . This is evident from the increase in the average percentage of students in the cognitive cycle in the first cycle is 54.11 % which is at the low category and the average cognitive abilities of children in the second cycle of 83.67 % in the high category
