PENERAPAN THINK PAIR SHARE BERBANTUAN MEDIA POHON BILANGAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL LAMBANG BILANGAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media pohon bilangan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 orang anak TK Anak Negeri pada kelompok B semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata skor kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada anak kelompok B setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media pohon bilangan pada siklus I sebesar 70% yang berada pada katagori sedang kemudian pada siklus II menjadi 81,2% tergolong pada katagori tinggi. Jadi terjadi peningkatan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan anak setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media pohon bilangan sebesar 11,2%.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share, Media Pohon Bilangan, Kemampuan Mengenal Lambang Bilangan
This research is aimed to know the development of students’ ability of recognize numbers by applying Think Pair Share learning method using the media tree numbers. This research was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cyclesThe subjects of the study are 14 kindergarten students in class B in the second semester in the academic year of 2013/2014. The data was collected by using observation method. The instrument used was in form of observation form. The data collected were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive. Results of the data analysis showed that the average score of students’ knowing the recognize numbers ability of B group increased after implementing Think Pair Share learning method with assist the media tree numbers from 70% in the first cycle in which it is categorized as moderate category into 81,2% in the second cycle in which it is categoried as high category. In conclusion, there is an increase of students’ recognize numbers ability after implementing Think Pair Share learning method aided by the media tree numbers that is 11,2%. It is categorized as relatively high category.
