PENGARUH KOMPETENSI EMOSIONAL DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh temuan eksplanatif yang teruji tentang pengaruh (1) kompetensi emosional dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) kompetensi emosional terhadap disiplin kerja, (3) kompetensi emosional terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan (4) disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PD BPR Bank Buleleng 45. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian kuantitatif kausal. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan PD BPR Bank Buleleng 45 dan objeknya adalah kompetensi emosional, disiplin kerja, dan kinerja karyawan. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 53 karyawan yang semuanya dijadikan unit pengamatan, sehingga penelitian ini termasuk penelitian populasi. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data kompetensi emosional, disiplin kerja, dan kinerja karyawan yang bersumber pada karyawan dan Kepala PD BPR Bank Buleleng 45. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik kuesioner dan pencatatan dokumen kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif dari (1) kompetensi emosional dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) kompetensi emosional terhadap disiplin kerja, (3) kompetensi emosional terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan (4) disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PD BPR Bank Buleleng 45.

This study aimed to obtain an explanatory findings were tested on the effect of (1) emotional competency and work discipline on the performance of employees, (2) emotional competency on work discipline, (3) emotional competency on employee performance, and (4) work discipline on the employee performance at PD BPR Bank Buleleng 45. The research design used is causal quantitative. The subjects research was all employees in PD BPR Bank Buleleng 45 and object of this research was emotional competency, work dicipline, and employee performance. The population of this research amount to 53 employees that are all used the unit of observation, so this research includes research population. The data was collected is the data emotional competency, work discipline, and employee performance which is based on employees and managers PD BPR Bank Buleleng 45. The data were collected in this research a questionnaire and recording documents techniques then was analyzed using path analysis. The results of research showed there were a positive effect of (1) emotional competency and work discipline on the performance of employees, (2) emotional competency on work discipline, (3) emotional competency on employee performance, and (4) work discipline on the employee performance at PD BPR Bank Buleleng 45.
