The Codes Used By Balinese-Javanese Mixed Marriage Families In Pulukan Village, Jembrana Regency

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kode yang digunakan oleh keluarga perkawinan campuran Bali-Jawa di Desa Pulukan,Kecamatan Pekutatan, Kabupaten Jembrana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kode apa saja yang digunakan oleh keluarga perkawinan campuran Bali-Jawa di Desa Pulukan, Kabupaten Jembrana dan bagaimana mereka menggunakan kodenya. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah: peneliti itu sendiri, alat perekam, catatan. Subjek penelitiannya adalah keluarga perkawinan campuran Bali-Jawa di Desa Pulukan. Sementara itu ranah-ranah yang dijadikan sebagai bahan penelitian meliputi ranah keluarga, ranah tetangga, dan ranah pertemanan. Temuan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa ada dua kode yang digunakan, yaitu alih kode dan campur kode. Campur kode terjadi secara dominan (44.54%) jika dibandingkan dengan alih kode dari percakapan di tiga ranah yang diteliti dibandingkan dengan alih kode yang digunakan (42.00%) dari percakapan pada tiga domain yang diteliti.Kata Kunci : alih kode, campur kode, perkawinan campuran Bali-Jawa, desa Pulukan
This study aimed at describing how codes are used by Balinese-Javanese mixed marriage families in Pulukan village,Pekutatan district,Jembrana regency. The purposes of this research are to know what codes are used by Balinese-Javanese mixed marriage families in Pulukan village, Pekutatan district, Jembrana regency and how they use them. The instruments in this study were: the researcher herself , recorder device, and note taking. The subjects of the research were Balinese-Javanese mixed marriage families in Pulukan village. Meanwhile, the domains of the research that had been conducted covered family domain, neighborhood domain, and friendship domain. The finding of this research revealed that there were two codes used Balinese-Javanese mixed marriage families in Pulukan, that is code switching and code mixing. The code mixings occurred dominantly (44.54%) as compared to code switching (42.00%) from the conversations of three domains studied.
