DEVELOPING TASK-BASED LANGUAGE TEACHING INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO ON TEACHING ENGLISH BASED ON CURRICULUM - 13 FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHERS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video instruksional Pengajaran Bahasa Berbasis Tugas yang dilengkapi dengan buku panduannya berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dan menggambarkan fitur serta kualitas video yang dikembangkan termasuk buku manual. Penelitian ini menggunakan D & D Research Design yang mengadaptasi model Dick dan Carey. Data akan dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah tiga guru bahasa Inggris SMP di Kabupaten Buleleng untuk mengumpulkan data analisis kebutuhan dan dua orang dosen Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UNDIKSHA untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kualitas produk yang dikembangkan. Selain itu, objek dari penelitian ini adalah video instruksional Pengajaran Bahasa Berbasis Tugas. Penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi, daftar periksa, catatan, pedoman wawancara, dan rubrik penilaian sebagai instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata dari kedua penilaian ahli adalah 4,5; Oleh karena itu video instruksional ini termasuk dalam kategori baik. Peningkatan produk yang disarankan dari hasil keputusan ahli mencakup prbaikan di beberapa bagian video seperti kualitas audio dan stabilitas beberapa adegan. Maka dari itu, produk yang di kembangkan sudah dikategorikan sebagai produk yang bagus.Kata Kunci : Kurikulum 2013, Video Instruksional, Pengajaran Bahasa Berbasis Tugas, Instruksi yang berpusat pada siswa (SCI).
This present research was aimed at developing a Task-based Language Teaching instructional video supplemented with its manual book based on the needs analysis conducted in this research and describing the features as well as the quality of the developed video including the manual book. This research utilized a D&D Research Design adapting Dick and Carey model. The data would be analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The subjects of this research were three junior high school English teachers in Buleleng regency to gather needs analysis data and two lecturers of English Education Department UNDIKSHA to collect data about the quality of the product developed. Besides, the object was Task-based language teaching instructional video. This research used observation sheet, checklist, note, interview guide, and scoring rubric as the instrument to collect the data. The results of this research showed that the mean from both of expert judgments was 4.5; therefore this instructional video belonged to the good category. Suggested product improvements from the expert judgments result included fixing some parts of the video such as the audio quality and stability of some scenes. Since, the product has been categorized as good product.
