AN ANALYSIS OF SWEAR WORDSOF BALINESE LANGUAGE PRACTICES BY BALI AGA PEOPLE IN CEMPAGA VILLAGE,NORTH BALI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kata makian yang digunakan dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif Bahasa Bali, yang diterapkan dengan mengamati, merekam audio, dan mewawancarai para informan. Para informan akan mengambil orang-orang tua yang berusia di atas 25 tahun dari Desa Cempaga, Bali Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata-kata umpatan yang digunakan di Desa Cempaga, Bali Utara memiliki bentuk, referensi, dan fungsi. Ada tiga bentuk kata-kata makian: (1) dalam bentuk kata-kata yang (2) berbentuk frasa (3) dalam bentuk klausa. Ada sembilan klasifikasi referensi kata-kata sumpah yang digunakan untuk Menganalisis Kata-Kata Umpatan Praktik Bahasa Bali oleh Orang Bali Aga di Desa Cempaga, Bali Utara yaitu: agama, fungsi tubuh, kotoran, istilah hewan, aktivitas, latar belakang pribadi, penyakit mental , setan, dan kekeluargaan. Fungsi kata-kata makian adalah (a) untuk menarik perhatian, (b) untuk memberikan katarsis, (c) untuk memprovokasi, (d) untuk menciptakan identitas interpersonal, (e) integratif, (f) agresif, (g) regresif, dan (h) penekanan.Kata Kunci : bentuk, fungsi, rujukan, kata makian
This study aimed at analyzing swear words used of Balinese Language descriptive qualitative research, which applied by observing, audio recording, and interviewing the informants. The informants will take old people between ages upper 25 years old from Cempaga Village, North Bali. The results of the study show that the swear words used in Cempaga Village, North Bali have their forms, references, and functions. There are three forms of swear words: (1) in the form of words which (2) in the form of phrases (3) in the form of clauses. There are nine classifications of the references of swearing words that used to Analyzed of Swear Words of Balinese Language Practices by Bali Aga People in Cempaga Village, North Bali namely: religion, body function, excrement, animal terms, activity, personal background, mental illness, devils, and kinship. The function of swear words are (a) to draw attention, (b) to provide catharsis, (c) to provoke, (d) to create interpersonal identity, (e) integrative, (f) aggressive, (g) regressive, and (h) emphasis.
