PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SNOWBALL THROWING BERBANTUAN PERMAINAN KARTU HURUF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN BAHASA ANAK KELOMPOK B TK MAS KUMARA DENPASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa setelah menerapkan model snowball throwing dengan permainan kartu huruf pada anak kelompok B TK Mas Kumara Denpasar, semester II tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 anak TK pada kelompok B semester II tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang peningkatan perkembangan bahasa menggunakan model snowball throwing dengan instrument berupa lembar observasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriftif dan metode analisis deskriftif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan perkembangan bahasa anak kelompok B dengan media kartu huruf pada siklus I sebesar 60,62% pada kategori rendah dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi sebesar 84,06% berada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa dengan media kartu huruf sebesar 23,44%.Kata Kunci : model snowball throwing, kemampuan berbahasa, permainan kartu huruf
This study aims to determine the improvement of language skills after applying the model of snowball throwing the card game letters on kindergarten children in group B Mas Kumara Denpasar, the second semester of academic year 2013/2014. This research is an action research conducted in two cycles. Subjects were 20 kindergarten children in group B the second semester of academic year 2013/2014. Research data on the increase in language development using a model instrument in the form of snowball throwing with the observation sheet. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the data analysis showed that an increase in the development of children's language media group B with letter cards on the first cycle of 60.62% in the low category and the second cycle increased to 84.06% in the high category. So an increase in the ability to speak with the media card letters of 23.44%
