PENERAPAN METODE BERMAIN DENGAN MEDIA KOTAK HURUF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN BAHASA PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B SEMESTER GENAP TAHUN PELAJARAN 2014/2015 DI TK WIJA KUSUMA II PEREAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan bahasa anak melalui penerapan metode bermain dengan media kotak huruf untuk meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa pada anak kelompok B semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 di TK Wija Kusuma II Perean. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus tindakan. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 orang anak kelompok B semester genap TK Wija Kusuma II Perean, kemudian data penelitian tentang perkembangan bahasa ini dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen rubric penilaian. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan perkembangan bahasa dari penerapan metode bermain dengan media kotak huruf mencapai 126,5%. . Pada siklus I sebesar 48,2% yang berada pada kriteria sangat rendah mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 77,85% tergolong kriteria sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode bermain dengan media kotak huruf dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa dalam kemampuan mendengarkan dan berbicara pada anak kelompok B TK Wija Kusuma II Perean.Kata Kunci : Metode Bermain, media kotak huruf , perkembangan bahasa.
This study aims to determine the increase in child language development through the application of a method of playing the media box to the letter to improve language development in children in group B second semester of academic year 2014/2015 in kindergarten Wija Kusuma II Perean. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) carried out in 2 cycles of action. Subjects were 14 children in group B TK Wija semester Kusuma II Perean, then the data of research on language development is collected using observation method with assessment rubric instrument. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive. The result showed that an increase in the development of the language of the application of the method to play the media box to the letter reached 126.5%. In the first cycle of 48.2%, which is at a very low criteria has increased in the second cycle into 77.85% were classified criteria. It can be concluded that the application of the method of playing the media letter box can enhance language development in the ability to listen and talk to the children in group B TK Wija Kusuma II Perean.
