PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS BERBANTUAN MEDIA BALOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dengan penerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media balok pada anak kelompok B semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 TK Murni Kusuma Bengkala. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang di laksanakan dalam siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 orang anak TK pada kelompok B semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan kognitif dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dengan instrument berupa lembar format percakapan. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistic deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa kelompok B TK Murni Kusuma Bengkala setelah diterapkan metode pemberian tugas melalui kegiatan bermain balok sebesar 23,50%. Ini terlihat dari peningkatan rata-rata presentase kemampuan kognitif anak pada siklus 1 adalah 54,11% yang berada pada kategori rendah dan rata-rata persen kemampuan kognitif anak pada siklus 2 sebesar 83,67% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi penerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media balok dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak Kelompok B semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 di TK Murni Kusuma Bengkala.Kata Kunci : metode pemberian tugas, media balok, kemampuan kognitif
This study aimed to determine the increase in cognitive development with the application of media-assisted method of duty beams on the students in group B in the second semester in academic year 2014/2015 at TK Murni Kusuma Bengkala. This research was classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 18 students in group B in the second semester in academic year 2014/2015. Data collected research on cognitive abilities by the method of observation with an instrument in the form of sheet conversation. Data format were analysed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis method. Results of the data analysis shows that the increase students cognitive abilities of group B TK Murni Kusuma Bengkala after applied the method of administration tasks through play activities amounted to 23,50%. This can be seend from the average percentage increase in cognitive student at cycle 1 was 54,11% which was at the low category and average cognitive abilities of student in cycle 2 at 83,67% at the high category. So the application of the method of assignmet of the medium beam aided can increase cognitive ability of children in group B, the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015 TK Murni Kusuma Bengkala.
