PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS BERBANTUAN MEDIA KOTAK ANGKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK TK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak pada kelompok B di TK Kumara Stana Gitgit, dengan menerapkan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kotak angka. Penelitan ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 15 orang anak kelompok B Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Variabel terikat penelitian ini adalah kemampuan kognitif anak, sedangkan variabel bebas adalah penerapan metode pemberian tugas .Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, menggunakan lembar obervasi. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya di analisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif setelah penerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kotak angka. Hasil pada siklus I adalah sebesar 67,1% yang menunjukkan kemampuan kognitif anak berada pada kategori sedang, ternyata mengalami peningkatan 22,01% pada siklus II menjadi 89,2% yang tergolong kategori tinggi.Kata Kunci : Pemberian Tugas, Kotak Angka, Kognitif
This study to determine the improvement of cognitive ability in children in group B Kumara Kindergarten Stana Gitgit, by applying the method of granting duty-assisted media box numbers. This research is action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 15 children, group B Academic Year 2013/2014. The dependent variable of this study is the cognitive ability of the child, while the independent variable is the application of the method of administration tasks. Data were collected through observation, using the observation sheet. The data were then analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis techniques and quantitative statistics. The results of the data analysis showed that an increase in cognitive ability after application of media-assisted method of administration tasks numbered boxes. The results of the first cycle is equal to 67.1%, which suggests children's cognitive abilities in middle category, it has increased 22,01% in the second cycle become 89,2% belong to the high category.
